For me to give an ‘Artist Statement’ is redundant to the reason that I exist.  I live and breathe because of Art and through its challenges.  Years ago, a patron said that I look to seek life’s experiences through my art.  I seek Art through my Life experiences.  It is the reason I feel good inside, laugh, cry inside and sometimes get sad to the point of depression ‘answered’ by suicide attempts.  Psychosis has been a problem in the past also.  It has been for me that reality kind of ebbs and flows.  My love for Art has been constant in my journey.  I consider myself an ‘Impressionist’ in that I am interested in the way light falls on form, with a large element of the way that color is reflected, and the resulting psychological element.  I was ‘taught’ as a child to have a deep love for the Arts, and that is why I believe that Art shared is a focus that we all are not always cognizant of, but are an a part of a ‘larger’ scheme.  I hope my ‘reflections’ can in some way add to the ‘delight’ of others, and I pray that you will love me, as I kind of clown around some, Art, for me, is the reason I live.
