I was born in Elizabeth City, N.C. on September 27, 1963 but raised in Norman, Oklahoma. I started drawing animals when I was about 2 years old and continued with my love of art with animals and landscapes because I could communicate best with my drawings, paintings and a variety of other mediums. I had several showings in public school and publications of poems (creative writings) in high school, Transition House, Thunderbird Clubhouse, and PSR Team Green newsletters. I also do volunteer work for the Little River Zoo for the past 6 years which I get some inspiration from.
